Despite the dark January skies, despite the cold, it was one of the most amazing places I’ve ever visited and I’d recommend it to anyone.

Where else can you find malls that only sell up to a size 6, girls with WAYY too much makeup, old women who still hold foil under their chins to tan, extremely obese families, houses two feet apart that cost $1.5 million each, and horrible drivers?

I visited the Sahara last summer and did a camel trek from Merzouga – next time I hope to camp and sleep under the stars in the great Sahara!

I’ll be spending the next year or so teaching here!

Fez was my first “real” Moroccan experience and an incredible one. I’ll be living only 50 minutes away come August, so soon it’ll be second nature.

I spent four days in Marrakesh at the tail end of two months in Morocco – And it was the best place I’ve ever been in my life. Fortunately I’m living in Morocco again and will be able to go back often, insha’allah.
