New York City

Worth visiting!

LOVE is such a strong word.

I LIKE New York. Love would be too much. I definitely like to visit the city when I’m up North but I’ve been a suburbanite too long to appreciate the city more than a couple of days at a time. When I go shopping, I don’t want to have to crawl over people just to get down the aisle. You knowwhatta mean?!

Dover

Not worth visiting!

No offense.

There’s nothing going on in Dover unless you want to run for Senate or something ‘cause I think it might be possible to meet all your constituents face to face.

My best friend works here for an American company in Rangoon. She said it’s kind of boring. She prefers Bankok.

I spent a few days here with some college friends. They’ve got really great rock climbing and white water rafting.

Baltimore

Worth visiting!

I like B'More.

I’ll admit B’More is a little ghetto but I like it. The harbor is really nice. I like water.

Burlington

Worth visiting!

Not bad for a hippie town!

I like Burlington. Can’t dis the home of Burton snowboards too much any way you look at it. No, this little place is really cute and it’s a great pitstop on your way to Montreal!

Savannah

Worth visiting!

Beware o' the Deep South...

Savannah is a beautiful city but I can’t stay there very long. My dad’s family lives there and I sware, most of the people there didn’t get the telegram that Jim Crow is out of style! Any place nice was worth going downtown, there were NO black people. Definitely visit, but don’t stay too long.

Asheville

Worth visiting!

Hippies, hippies everywhere...

I went to a conference right outside town and instead of going to the Biltmore Mansion like I wanted to on our free evening, we went into town. Boooo! What is up with a bunch of white people pretending to live third world lives in the middle one of the wealthiest, most developed nations on earth?! But then I guess if actually move to a developing nation you can’t make “a statement” if everyone around you is even poorer than you pretend to be.

Moving right along, if you can get past the flakiness, the town itself is kinda cute. I don’t know if there’s a lot to do there because we didn’t stay very long but I did get some really good pad-thai cooked by some white boys in a restaurant downtown…

Eureka Springs

Worth visiting!

A Pleasant Suprise!

I was AMAZED that this little town was in the middle of ARKANSAS (a state not exactly known for being cultured). This place is so cute. I loved being out in the mountains for the weekend. It was really peaceful and nice.
