Hozugawa flat-bottomed boat ride

Great day trip adventure from Kyoto. The flat boats scrape the bottom of the river when you go over the rapids and the guides push you through. A very relaxing ride downstream. No one spoke any English, but we managed fine. Highly recommended if you’re traveling around Kyoto and have a day to spare.
