It actually seemed like a nice enough state, but this is the only place I have ever been where the traffic was enough, by itself, to make me want to never return.

I was there in the summer, and it was a nice escape from the heat of the more famous cities to the south. There are many smaller villages in the area that are also worth seeing. The Zenkoji temple was the most memorable place I visited there.
