Sacramento, Sacramento County

Untitled

Sacramento is the second city in the world with the most trees. Paris is #1. This should give the reader a visual of how dense and lush this city is. I have a soft spot in my heart for Sacramento. Living in L.A, Sacramento, and San Francisco, Sacramento definately holds its own. The people are down to earth, outdoorsy, relaxed, kind, and easy going. Most of the activities involve eating, drinking, and conversing and swimming. The Sacramento Delta is a real treat for those who love to find unpopulated gems. I would recommend visiting the towne of Locke and going to Al de Wop’s bar where dollar bills are hanging from the ceiling. The trick is to throw it up with a tack and a silver dollar and to stick it up there.

Pacific Coast Highway, California

Untitled

I have made the journey up and down the 1 on sunny days and during one of the worst rainstorms where the ocean waves were actually splashing its residue on our side windows. It never fails to take my breath away, being at the end of a continent, driving along side it. Morro Rock in Morro Bay is one of my most favorite places to stop by along the way. It is also fun to take detours off the main road. Also, the mission in Carmel is beautiful.

Armand Hammer Museum of Art and Culture Center, UCLA

Untitled

This is one of my most favorite museums in the world. It is small but it packs a punch as far as current trends in the modern art world goes. Definately WORTH going out of your way to visit this classic.
