Not worth visiting!

too touristy

It’s not a town- its nothing but hotels & a shopping center. Nice beaches, though- but not what we were looking for. For the “real Mexico”- take a cab from Ixtapa to nearby Zihuatanejo.

In 1993 I snuck into this “closed” city, as an exchange student. I want to visit again! Very warm weather, and lots of Roman ruins.
