It’s hotttt…don’t be poor and go to Penang, make sure you have a driver and don’t take public transportation because it looks like the busses are going to break down. AND WATCH OUT FOR MOSQUITOS or else you have to go to “Clinik Tropika” and see a skin specialist.

Located in East Vancouver, Main Street has tons of non-mainstream funky stuff. Check out consignment stores like Front or unconventional art supplies (bottle caps, game pieces, sequins…) at Ruby Dog!

I heart Vancouver.
Some people may say this city’s too small, but I think it’s great. Not to overwhelming like Toronto but not in the middle of nowhere like…umm, the praries. We have mountains, we have an ocean. Others may say there’s not much to do in Vancouver, but it’s not what you’re doing, it’s who you’re with. Besides, if you actually have the motivation to, you could explore the less mainstream parts of Vancouver – looking at funky consignment on Main, checking out cafes on Denman, shopping on West Fourth 4th, or taking a yoga lesson at Bikram’s Yoga Studio on Cambie Street.
