Jacques Torres is a really nice guy, on top of being a talented chocolatier. He’s put a lot of thought into his haven—making it not only a place to buy carefully crafted chocolates, but a place to sit down in and enjoy.

It’s good if you have vegetarians in your party, but if not, why skip the meat?

Great place for a casual breakfast or brunch. The smell of freshly baked bread and pastries in the morning makes you feel alive.

My church meets here! Also, I saw Animal Collective here and the maintenance staff is really amazing.

Not to stay, just to hang out in their public atrium, eat at Burger Joint and drink absinthe at Knave.

American-style Asian dumplings, if you know what I mean. Not that they’re bad, though.
