I was able to work on one of the military bases for a couple months and ended up coming back to visit because I loved the city so much. There’s tons of things to do and the main downtown area was awesome to just wander around. During the summer they had festivals all the time and the atmosphere was great, as were the people.
over 6 years agoDespite an incident with a bombing, the city was really cool. A friend and I stumbled upon a random block party that was cool, plus the shopping was awesome. I won’t go back because of what happened, but it was worth the trip.
over 6 years agoThis was by far one of the most gorgeous places I have ever seen. I felt like I was in a postcard. I wasn’t able to do any of the extreme sporting stuff, but just hiking around was great too.
