Some of the kindest people I’ve met are from Iran. They have a genuine spirit which I cherish. A country that has produced such beautiful people deserves a visit.

I lived in New Mexico for six years. When I flew in I was depressed because it was so desert-like, and being from California I was already missing the green. After six years of hiking and camping in NM, I found my spirtual home in the vast open spaces of NM. Being able to stand on a mesa and look 360 degrees around without seeing one person or one man made object was life changing. I highly recommend that anyone that loves nature visit New Mexico.

Recently did a two day trip to Taipei. The speeding scooters with a family of five and the morning omelets served in a plastic bag were memorable. The night markets have the best food for the best prices. The oyster omelet and quail eggs were heaven.

My partner and I just traveled to the Philippines in October 2006 so I could meet her family and eat the best food ever. The tropical fruits are the best (compared to Seattle), and the various dishes and desserts are worth yearly trips (if I could only afford it)!
