My best friend and I were so excited we could get into Trees at 17. We thought we were so cool. Thanks for that, Deep Ellum!

If you’re vegetarian, eat before you go. Your meat-eating friends will love this place, though.

I’ve been to the Magnolia on South Congress and Lake Austin many times, and always find the service is quicker and more friendly at the Lake Austin location.

On the menu, they say the fries are world famous. Well, they really are the best fries you could eat! Try their dipping sauce with them, too. They’re wonderful.

This place is also very vegetarian-friendly. You have many options off the menu!

I went here a few weeks ago for dinner and split a peppermint milkshake with a friend… oh my god, it was basically the best thing I ever tasted. I highly recommend it!

I went to visit my husband’s parents this past weekend, and they took me to Weeki Wachee for my birthday. It was such a wonderful present. I looooooooooove mermaids and this place could not have been more fun. It has a 50s, a little run-down, kitchy feel that you can’t beat. I loved it.

I used to live here when I was little, and this was the favorite restaurant of my extended family. They all went crazy for the gumbo.

My favorites were moon jellies and the african lungfish.
