Guinness Brewery

Not worth visiting!

Sorry... but only for the "free" beer

and the view at the end really. The rest of the brewery is humid and manky. There is no tour guide and an overpriced shop. The view from the bar at the top is unbeaten, especially with a ‘dark brew’ in hand. The postcard wall is a nice touch too.

Paris

Romantic

Even a soiled shoe can be romantic in this city (maybe that’s pushing it) but go and see. The city is beautiful rain or shine… mostly rained for me.

Scotland

Worth visiting!

Ediburgh and around

Cold over the Xmas break but definitely worth it. The people are friendly (albeit hard to understand) and warm, which makes up for the weather!

Excellent

Lived here for 20 years… only good things to say about this most diverse and wonderous country!

Algarve

Not worth visiting!

Possibly

Worth a visit if you avoid the tourist traps. Faro is an underrated city; most package tours land here and the go off – so we found it a nice place to stay for a while :)

Turkey

Worth visiting!

Untitled

Spent a month coming down the eastern coast from Istanbul, hot air-ballooning, kayaking, sailing. Turkey has so much to offer – the history, weather and people are great.

Vietnam

(in Asia)

Worth visiting!

Awesome

Toured the southern parts. Da Lat, Saigon (HCMC) and Mui Ne; hiked mountain in the highlands and mountain-biked down from Da Lat to Mui Ne. Vietnam is definitely worth a visit if you can get across there.
