We used to hang out up here when I was a teenager. My friend would tell the tourists that his grandfather built the concrete dinosaurs because everyone called him “Dino Tony.” I’m pretty sure no one believed us, but the view of Rapid City is beautiful, especially at sunset. Skyline drive is definitely a scenic route worth taking.
over 4 years agoDeadwood is a great place if you enjoy history or the wild west. There are free Museums as well as historic sites. You could spend a week without stepping foot in a bar or casino.
