Key West, Florida Keys
While On Vacation at Boca Raton
headed for the Everglades. Saw a sign for Key West, and at that instant, wanted to go. Stopped at each and every Palm, Plant, Banana Tree Nursery along the way.
- Downtown (Mile Marker-0), there were lots of people, Live Jazz Bars, and excellent ice cream.
- Stayed over night at the Navy Logde at NAS Key West – excellent! For $61.00 bucks, will get a nice sized room with a separate dressing and bathroom area, and a separate kitchenette (with all utensils, appliances and little stuff you tend to buy when you go to the cabin) to boot.
- The crème de la crème was the beach side resort (right on the water) feel at a military installation. It was well worth the spend (p.s. avg rate to berth in town @ $169 skins).
- Definitely going back.
