Cameron Highlands, Pahang
Cool respite
I spent a few weeks in Malaysia and the most relaxing time we spent was in the Cameron Highlands. Up there, you can get away from the heat. And we really loved the hiking and tea plantations.

over 6 years agoVisited New Mexico in Feburary. We saw sun, rain, snow, hail and sun again within a couple hours. Land of Enchantment!
over 6 years agoThe Taiwanese aborigine culture is very visible here. We saw some sod dwellings built into the side of hills as well as some altars used in the aborigine religious rituals.
Green Island is more developed. But Lanyu (Orchid Island) is more wild and has equally lovely views and good snorkeling.
