over 4 years agoI came to Juarez on a mission trip. Even though there was a language barrier between most of the group, people still related very well with eachother. The people there are so kind and appreciative of what little things they have. They take a lot of pride in family and helping the community. I helped a man build a house for his daughter who was recently married and about to have a child. I purchased a hand-made bracelet from a young woman who was trying to save up money for her own wedding. Children were everywhere, enjoying life and the simple things. The man at the market on the corner gave us pop in a plastic bag so we didn’t have to pay extra for the bottles. I recommend Manzana Lift to everyone! Over all, the people were very touching and taught me a lot about being greatful for what I have and to not take life so seriously.
over 4 years agoI have loved New York City ever since I can remember. The lights, the people, the noise, the flith- I am fascinated by it all. It’s one of my favorite places in the world.
