Dallas, Dallas County
Untitled
I was at a conference for much of my time in Dallas, but I did get to go out a couple of times. I found the people were incredibly friendly and nice.
The weather is very hot in summer!

over 4 years agoWhat Columbus might lack in big buildings downtown, it makes up for it with the nicely-restored neighborhoods around the central business district, much of which can be attributed to the large gay population in the city (one of the largest in the country).
German Village, Short North, Victorian Village, Italian Village, university area, and Olde Towne East are just some of the areas with great 1870-1930s houses and architecture.
There is also a lot of renewal going on to put neighborhoods/condos on old parking lots, and the Arena district is fun if you don’t mind watching the hockey team lose!
