though i really only spent a few days there, it was enough for me to find out just how awesome boston really is. since i’m going to school just north of there, i look forward to making it my own.

Chicago is my favorite of the three “big cities” in the united states. L.A. is too expensive, and as much as i like NYC it’s just a different state of mind there. i think Chicago is the perfect balance of what a city should be. i’m definitely going to miss it when i move out east to go to school. however i must admit that Boston is definitely up there on the awesome cities list.

Though my time was short (6 days), it was a special occasion because i was going to see my older cousin for the first time in almost 6 years. I would have loved to have stayed longer but he was leaving for London to go to grad school. However i do plan on spending a summer there within the next couple years because there’s too much to see and do that you can’t fit it into two weeks or even a month. Although i wasnt there during the season, Montreal has tons of summer festivals that sound unbelievable. Not to mention the city is known for its great music scene. Overall i think Montreal is too hip for its own good.
