This site has a lot of information and links to sites with more information: http://www.gbcnet.com/ushighways/US101/index.html.
Try Google.
If you’re really concerned about not finding your way, try putting in shorter destinations in Mapquest; like instead of “From San Ysidro, CA to Blaine, WA” do it in smaller sections and then add them up at the end. Bear in mind that “driving time” will vary wildly, as you pass through some major metropolitan areas.
Dubai, United Arab Emirates

soshesays answers,
I was a single American female living in Dubai not too long ago. I think there are several factors that’ll go into whether or not you like it.
First of all, finances — everything in Dubai revolves around money. While it’s possible to go out and have a good time without splurging, it’s really, really difficult. I didn’t like Dubai very much solely because I wasn’t rolling in cash and therefore could hardly afford to do so much as take a taxi.
There are some incredible things to love about the place, though. It is a mindboggling melting pot of cultures, from the tourists hailing from every corner of the globe to the immigrant workers from the Indian Subcontinent to the (few and far between) native Emiratis. English is the lingua franca, so you will have no trouble getting around. There is a lot of shopping if you’re into that kind of thing.
But I would definitely advise you to look into the cost of living and whether or not your position would afford you the kind of lifestyle you’d want to be living.
