Union Square, Manhattan

Lots of shops and affordable restaurants

Strand and Barnes and NOble are also nearby. Just like other parks in Manhattan, this place is pet-friendly. This is another good spot for shopping since a lot of shops that sell bargain shoes, clothes, books and electronics are scattered all over the place.

I loved the Vietnamese restaurant (forgot the name).

NYU is nearby, as well as the New York Film Academy.

Radio City Music Hall, Midtown

I watched the 2007 Radio City Christmas Spectacular

…featuring the Rockettes, something about a boy who doesn’t believe in Santa Claus and—this one I really loved because of the stage design—New York Christmas.

  • buy taho and bananacue
  • enjoy readings at the Main Library
  • ask Oble what life really means after UP; might as well have your photo taken in front of the naked statue
  • wait for something violently interesting to happen along the AS walk
  • buy UP T-shirts, stickers, stationery at the dilapidated shopping center
  • figure-watch at AS Lobby
  • watch film re-runs at Film Center
  • The first or second week of February is the student fest
