I was raised in Oklahoma.. and very glad I was. My attitude towards people and life in general is so great.. and I haven noticed that most Oklahomans have the same positive outlook on life.

over 5 years agoIf it weren’t for the six month long winters, Topsham would be my home for life. It is absolutely beautiful here. It is large enough that there are shopping centers close by, usually within ten minutes at the farthest. Portland, Maine is just over half an hour away, as is the state capital, Augusta. Yet, Topsham is a small town with very friendly people and the Androscoggin River as a border with neighboring town, Brunswick. Maine is beautiful in general, and if you ever have a chance, you should definitely visit! Just avoid the end of November through the beginning of April unless you love snow and the freezing cold.
The picture is a view from my front window across the street at about 6am on a chilly February morning.
