Soo freakin biiiig. Smells ridiculously like car fumes and our baggage took like an hour to get placed on the conveyor belt. Icky icky poo.

Toronto Pearson International Airport

Everyone is really rushed and the staff are pretty unfriendly… strange… but probably to be expected in a huge city airport.

Still, it sucked. :P

Speedboating with Flatlanders

My friend and I took a ferry to Bowen Island and stayed with her parents’ friends. The community is amazing, everyone knows everyone. The scenery is breathtaking.

We were taken out on a speedboat around the island, and nearly drowned. We were greeted with “Oh, so you’re a flatlander, eh?” every time we told someone where we were from (Saskatchewan).

It was beautiful and I would love to go back.

I go camping here every summer… at least a few times. It’s about a half hour out of Saskatoon. It’s nice to get out of the city!

Martensville

Worth visiting!

The first time I went to this place

My mother and I stopped a small local boy to ask where the city center was. He laughed and said that everything right off the highway was all there was. Which consisted of like an A&W and a Dollar Store. Whut!

Come to Brazil!

I worked at the Brazilian/Egyptian pavilion in 2006. It was tons of fun, and the food is always the best!

Blaine

Worth visiting!

When I was young...

I was about 9 years old, and visiting my family in BC, right across the border. I came to Blaine for a day and bought some toy soldiers with American money (ooooh!). It was cool to finally see part of America!
