Chicago, Cook County

Untitled

One of my favorite cities, for real. Saved me from mental decay once I was old enough to care about where I lived.

Norway, Europe

It changed me.

It really did. Maybe it was just the intensity of traveling across the Atlantic by myself, maybe it was that strange sense of elation I felt when the plane landed in Oslo, maybe it was the gorgeous buildings or people or countryside I saw during my stay – I really have no idea. All I know is that, I did not come back to the States the same person. And though Norway is very Americanized and more modern than most of non-Scandinavian Europe, I think the emotions I’ve attached to it would draw me back to it over any other country in Europe.
