Why I recommend this place to visitors
I grew up in the area. Lake Wawasee is a great place to get away to. No plans on a weekend. Go to the sandbar. It always has a wonderful party atmosphere. Don’t forget to stop by the Frog during the evening to hang out with all the locals and lakers.

Unlike any other place I’ve been to. If you are going to rent a boat get one at least 25 ft long. The waves can beat you down in a small boat.
