I got stuck here when my flight from Denver was delayed and I missed my connecting flight by five or ten minutes. They only held it for 15 minutes and it was the last flight out to Portland, ME. I had to take a flight into Boston instead, and they held that one for half an hour. Then I didn’t get my bags in Portland the next day like I was supposed to.

over 5 years agoThe first time I went to Ojai was specifically to go to Bart’s Books. It’s the most amazing bookstore I’ve ever been to, a whole house turned into a bookstore, and you can find some really great stuff there. I got some rare Hunter Thompson and Ralph Steadman books there. But it’s also great for literature. I just got 20 classic books for $80. Ojai is a beautiful and relaxed town. The main street has no chain stores on it. Nature and art abounds there. I’ve gone four times now and have hardly began to find all of what there is to do.
