It is definitely worth bargaining to go on a gondola ride. Really, can anything BE more romantic, cruising through the quaint canals? Yeah sure, it sounds cliche and tourist, but there’s nothing like kissing under the Bridge of Sighs—-it’s supposed to be good luck, or something.

It was dirty and run-down. There are WAAAY more beautiful beaches in California to go…I don’t understand what the hype is all about.

It was a super romantic city. I didn’t care that I got pickpocketed. I was falling in love with a guy, as we traipsed across the Spanish Steps, by the Trevi Fountain, and through the Coliseum. It also has a really fun nightlife and vibrant hostel scene :)

It’s an oasis of classy. Plus, seeing Cirque Du Soleil inside, O, is awe-inspiring. Plus, the hotel has a really yummy gelato shop within. And the magnificent fountains outside that are coordinated to move to music such as “hey, big spenda” are fun to watch.

The food was delicious, the restaurant ambiance was fun, and they lit a cheese dish on fire. Dude, can you ask for anything more? :)

It was very charming.

I also really enjoyed the restaurant right on the beach, Las Brisas. It had great food and an amazing view. Sigh. Man oh man, why can’t the beaches around NYC be as pretty?

I know it sounds silly. But this place gets bonus points, since there was a cute guy that worked at the Airtunes booth. There was also a good, comprehensive food court if I remember, or several, and lots of pictural reading material on Minneapolis. A clean, spatious, easy to get around airport. Bravo.

Not only do I love this place, because it has the outdoor steps from the Rocky movie, but I was so impressed with its exhibits. Everything from the Japanese tea house, to Princess Grace of Monaco’s wedding dress, to Monet’s impressionist paintings on display, to the intricate Dutch tiles…it all totally rocked!This is an A plus museum – one of the best art establishments I’ve ever been to! And I think it’s underappreciated! Go here! you won’t be disappointed!

Excellent slopes. Cool town to party in apres ski or snowboard. Lots of accomodations to chose from. Yo rock it.
