Gusties, where are you?

I loved this school. I got a music degree here and graduated in ‘98. I would send my kids here too probably. I received an excellent education. I hope somebody else writes about it here.

the best place in the world

My dad was a guide here and so my family went many summers. I went for the first time when I was only 4 years old. I want to go again some time soon. My best memories are at a little bitty lake (I was a kid, so don’t know which one, sorry!), where we saw no one for days. We jumped in off a big rock and swam and shouted. It was serene. You’re missing out if you’ve never been here.

Happy Little Town

My Grandma, Ruby Lommen, used to live at 308 West Main. I loved visiting her and spending time in Roseau. The people there are so friendly and despite the cold, cold winters, I always get a warm, fuzzy feeling when I’m there.

Land of 10,000 lakes

I grew up here and loved Minnesota. MN remains one of the most beautiful states I have ever seen. I highly recommend it.

Avo's rocks!

I used to live across the street from Avo’s. The bartender there was an usher at my wedding. It is the nicest little bar/cafe. People come from all over Colorado to get the best tempe burgers ever on Tempe 2-for-1 Tuesday. Also, the Poudre River Irregulars play the first Friday every month. They are an awesome band. Different bands play all the time, sometimes there is open mic night. Monday nights there is swing dancing from I think 7-9. It’s such a great little place. I highly recommend you go to the best little hippy bar in CO.
