This is a fun, downtown baseball park. The box office got killer seats for me just minutes before the game started. For less than I can get into Comiskey’s upper deck. The food selection was great. I got nachos with tons of guacamole for a price that would be reasonable anywhere.

The game on the other hand, well, they lost bad.

Somehow I hadn’t managed to get to Peoria, despite living in Illinois for much of my life.

Admittedly, I didn’t spend lots of time here, but it was much nicer than I had expected. I had been thinking Rockford, but dingier. Wrong-o.

I didn’t get to check out the riverfront area, so I’ll have to get back. I did get to see a hockey game with some very enthusiastic fans. Wow. They do love their team there.
