Beignets are freakin’ dangerous, not just from the sugar and fat rush but also the danger of inhaling powdered sugar. Besides, I’ve had better.

I was only about 10 years old by Tigerman
For me, this town was my world, my playground for 1 or 2 weeks every summer. We rode bicycles along the little sandy roads that lead through the thick pine trees. We enjoyed the little gelato shops and bought french fries from shops right on the beach. There was a Luna Park and also one of the best video game arcades I’ve seen. More details as I remember them…

I would not recommend it for families or the wussy general population, but for people who like to drink and party and see lots of crazy nasty stuff, and hear some loud live music, its alright. At least I got to see my first strippers club there, and got taken to a back room and offered a different deal (ripoff), that was a nice experience. It’s almost too easy to get too drunk too fast there, so I had to go back sober the next evening and take some pictures. If it didn’t smell so bad, I might say its Worth It.
The architecture should also not be missed.

I lost my glasses in the river once, but found them again because they were moving with the current, which taught me that I dont have to worry so much about losing them under water. Also, I seem to remember the grill area being really nice, convenient, unique…

I’ve always wanted to stay a day and a night in ‘the Last Homely House east of the Sea’. I hear it is very relaxing and can help you heal. It is also said to be “a refuge for the weary and the oppressed, and a treasury of good counsel and wise lore.” Who doesn’t need that once in a while?
