Not worth visiting!
Not my favorite place on earth, but we could have been stationed somewhere worse.

Loved it. Want to go back. Make sure to go to the flea market on Sundays and see a play in The Globe.

I have visited Venezia twice – the first time I didn’t care for it too much, the second time I fell in love. The first time I went there, it was the middle of tourist season and I felt like herded cattle.
The second time I visited Venezia, I had been living in Florence and was much more comfortable speaking Italian. This time I stayed away from the main tourist areas and let myself get lost wandering the small streets – that is how you see the “real” Venezia. You can’t get too lost because you eventually find signs that lead you back.

Rome is crazy, busy, fun, full of history & vitality – I enjoyed myself both times I’ve been there. Bring good walking shoes!

Dirtier than expected, locals were not very tolerant with Americans who couldn’t speak French, but still worth experiencing!

Not only is Switzerland beautiful and amazing, but I stopped and drank from a street water fountain, and it was pure, cold & utterly refreshing – the best tap water I have ever tasted!

My husband and I are so excited! After serving in the military, we are on our way back home to CA this November and are looking to settle down in Santa Cruz.
I am looking to meet new, open minded, laid back, life luvin, dog people in their 20’s & 30’s to get to know.

I had the extreme pleasure of living & studying in Italy and it was amazing. I can’t wait to return! The Italians truly understand what living is about. They take long lunches every day, walk everywhere, hang out, and do not let their lives revolve around work as Americans tend to do (I am just as guilty!).
You have not truly lived life until you have had some real Italian gelato and dined at a small, family trattoria…molto delicioso!
Of all the Italian cities I have visited, Firenze is by far my favorite. I love that it’s busy enough to have a variety of things to do, small enough that everyone is out walking around and socializing, culturally diverse, and can I say enough about the shops?
