Come for the view, stay for the… well… view. The food sucks for the price, although the dessert with the dryed ice look deadly.

You’ve seen one, you’ve seen them all. It’s a founding prinicle of Starbuck ut unfortunately it makes the original one nothing special.

Fun place, but too many damn people to truly enjoy it.

Visited for a romantic weekend. In one day, we saw a Storm Trooper, several ninjas, 90s grunge beards, fish throwing, abject poverty dashing themselves at brand new mercedes’, Qwest statium, a test of how many people can fit in one building (Pike’s Market) and the rest of Seattle at the rate of one revolution per hour. Great place to visit, but I’de NEVER live there.

Come for the fishing, stay for the strip clubs!

My visit to Voodoo Doughnuts was kind of the highlight of our evening. A friend was visiting from out of town and heard of the Bacon Maple Bar. (You read that correctly) After a nightmare trying to find a place to park (We drove 5 miles away and took the MAX), we found it to be a little hole in the wall-dive kinda place. A guy with kooky glasses was singing karaoke inside a room no bigger than my bedroom. My friend got his, and I got a Banana Chocolate Peanut Butter Fritter. What a healthy way to end an evening!

Humdinger’s has the absolute best hamburgers in Portland. I know this is only my opinion, but I challenge you to try it before you disagree.

I had the mixed grill and the tenderloin medallions were do unbelievibly tender that they literally melted in my mouth. Just a tip, if you want dessert, pace yourself. I had the carrot cake. It was larger than my meal. I left very very full stomach, but a very light wallet. Quality comes at a price, but i think it’s worth doing if you feel you’ve earned it.

At least a 4-star hotel right in the middle of downtown. The class and attitude of the hotel staff is top notch, and the rooms are clean, quiet and filled with every amenity, even a few you might not think about.

A little old, a little new, a lot of fun! The downtown area between 4th-6th street has anything for the night owl.
