I went to both Compton Bay and Brook Bay this bank holiday weekend – it was great to watch all the surfers, body boarders, and kite surfers! Such a great atmosphere, lovely beach, windy, with rugged hills and rocks to climb. You really feel at one with nature here.

If you want to see The Needles, you don’t need to follow that road that leads all the way to the £3 car park. You can turn into the road to the golf course and park there for free, and follow the stony path down to the bay.

Such a friendly, pretty little market town, with a train line directly up to Guildford/Woking/London and down to Portsmouth. I hope to live there someday! :)

Unfortunately i happened to be in Berlin at the time of the World Cup and there was a stupid great big football in front of Brandenburger Tor … i mean ginormous!! People were paying money to walk inside this awful plastic football, and they wouldn’t let us through the gate!

Other than that it was well worth seeing, just for the sense of history.

When you think you’ve finished the museum … keep looking around … there’s an underground cavern full of pictures and maps, plus a book to sign as a tribute to the founder of the museum.

During my trip to Berlin, this was the most memorable thing i saw. I’m really awful at history, but this museum really helped me to understand the history of the Berlin Wall. I was totally touched and quite choked up about it.

I went to visit a friend in Berlin this Summer … had a really great time, saw most of the big sights, it was such a nice holiday. I’ll always have fond memories of it.

Well I was born in Nottingham, so it’s always nice for me to go back. I have some lovely friends there, and I enjoy shopping in the city centre.

I even worked in Nottingham for 5 weeks, when IBM sent me to do a bit of work for Boots at the head office. That was a fun experience!

I’ve never been to Scotland in my life, which is crazy since I live in England! Anyway, I should be going to Glasgow this Summer, and I’m totally looking forward to it! :D

My partner was brought up there, so we went to visit his parents for Christmas. It was absolutely beautiful, and the Christmas market was stunning. I adore the cathedral … and I drank some of the spa water! It smelled of eggs but it tasted okay, and it was so warm!! We did a lot of shopping and the prices are much cheaper than England. There are loads of good shops and cafes to see.

I’d definitely recommend a trip to Aachen to anybody, especially at Christmas time!
