Toledo, Ohio

I spent the first four years of my life here. I don’t know it well at all, but I wouldn’t put it first on my “places to visit” list.

Ann Arbor, Washtenaw County

This is my favorite non-coastal Michigan town. A great university community, but not a huge town. It’s a perfect size, with lots to do. Unfortunately, the cost of living is significantly higher than most other areas in Michigan.

Michigan, United States

good ole michigan

I’m a Michigander at heart. I spent all of my growing up years there. Went to college there. Got married, bought a house, had two kids—all in Michigan! I bet we’ll retire in one of the beautiful coastal towns. It’s a good thing we’re in Michigan every couple of months, otherwise I’d miss it!
