We got there at like Midnight…uh, yeah…you’re gonna want to wait until like 1-2am before you even think about heading out here. Unless you REEEEEAAAALLLLY love dancing and $15 drinks.

I saw BOSCH’s Garden of Earthly Delights up close. Some crazy stuff going on in that painting, that’s for sure.

...chocolate fountain and walk-in beer cooler.

‘Nuff said.

I saw ARCADE FIRE playing in the backyard. Then the next night, I got to see WILCO in the very same spot. Not too shabby.

Was during ACL Fest 2005—as far as “ways to cool down on a 100 degree day at Zilker Park”, it ranks an easy #1.

And some good friends of mine; spent a week in Golden back in 2001 and saw Trey Anastasio at Red Rocks. Fun place, great venue, good fun all around.

All I can say is, come hungry. All the talk about Austin having epic eats is not hype, my friend.

Overall, just a really cool city, lots of fun stuff to check out, without feeling in any way like a tourist. Strongly recommend it to anyone.
