Last time (second of two visits) we sat in this little hallway near the men’s room. My girlfriend saw a man’s penis in front of a urinal. I saw a man cranking out a hot one in the stall. The eggs were cold and bad, there was no salt, the service sucked, there were long lines, the bus boys were literally bounding around our table and were about to run over us. We tried to fill out a feedback card, but they had giant black Austin Java logos printed over the comment fields! (no one ever got back to us, either.)

This place has the cheap, manufactured Austin vibe that reels ‘em in.

For years, my dad remodeled various old buildings and helped move buildings to Cowtown. I spent a bug chunk of my younger years on premesis.
