There are lots of nice hiking trails of various lengths, as well as one across the Natural Bridge. There’s also a pleasant campground (although slightly wasp-infested one time I was there) and a lodge with a pool. The area is also very popular among rock climbers. Eat at Miguel’s pizza, you won’t regret it.

Beautiful, peaceful, unspoilt area. Wildlife abounds among lakes and islands. You can go days without seeing another person.

Both times I’ve been to Disney/Epcot (age 6 & 13), I liked Epcot a lot better. I don’t think I’d ever go back to Disney unless I had kids, but I’d probably go to Epcot again anyway.

Mostly just shops you can find anywhere and touristy knick knacks for sale. The idea is nice but it’s nothing that exciting.

This one is my favorite of all the Six Flags

I loved this museum when I was a little kid and I still love it now in my 20s. There’s always something new to see and a lot of exhibits are are hands-on. The coal mine alone is worth a trip.

Go to the Loop for good food and music and a nice place to walk around.

The produce was of dubious quality and more than half of the stalls are just selling tacky plastic made-in-china junk. Try the Central West End farmer’s market instead.

It’s a fun way to spend a day and several have tours/wine tasting. A nice way to get there is driving Hwy 94 out from St. Charles; it’s a good scenic drive.
