Inverness is the capital of the Highlands. I have been out once in my supposed ‘capital’. Full of neds it certainly is. But Barbazza was fun… We went there to see Kane Dingle (at my friends request). Quite funny how all these girls were screaming for an ageing soap star who is married and didn’t really seem to want to mingle with all these girls who were half naked in their skimpy clothes. If that’s your sort of thing, go for it. But I was with my best mate, so it wasn’t all that bad. Waiting at the taxi rank for a taxi back to her gran’s in Dingwall, there was a fight in our queue… enter police, blood, bruises, swinging fists… oh yea, it was fun.

Actually I’m going to Warsaw tomorrow. Going for a week. All my Polish friends in Paisley (all from Krakow) want me to visit their town as they say Warsaw is dreary, but I am going to make the most of it as the day after I arrive is my birthday, and I already have 3 friends who live here. I can’t wait!

We saw a band here one night while we were staying in the local backpackers place down the road. It was absolutely freezing as I wore my dress. We were in the open roofed disco quite a lot. It was hip-hop night and for a while we were the one ones on the floor. And the only white people. Smirnoff-spins (not smirnoff ices) were all the rage. My mate snogged an african girl and her friend tried to come onto me. Got a bit scared. But it was fun. We lost some of our group for a bit but they were only enjoying the view from one of the many towers. The architecture is amazing. I recommend it as a fabulous night out for anyone and everyone!!
