It’s not the easiest place to get to, but Glastonbury is completely worth it once you arrive. The sunset from the top of the Tor is amazing. The town is laden with wonderful bed and breakfasts, and the ruins of the Abbey are an unforgetable sight. The whole place has kind of a sleepy hippie vibe to it, a wonderful place to spend a few days.
over 4 years agoI loved Winchester, especially the hostel in the old mill. Jane Austen’s cottage was a quick bus ride away, and the cathedral was incredibly beautiful.
