Didcot became my base, back in 1994, when I decided to move to the UK. I had a friend there, and lived in Didcot for 4 years, before moving to London.

A great place to live, if you want to explore the SE of England.

I still to this day come back to Didcot, as 2 of my best friends live there. In spite of what others’ might say, Didcot truly changed my life.

On 2 different occasions, I travelled to Geneva and Vevey (near Montreux). Would gladly move to CH, but have yet to convince my better half.

Oddly, Geneva is the one place I have been to, where I felt distinctly uncool, when trying to hurry…

Hmm…............maybe that’s a sign for me to go back – and relax….

The hospitable and friendly English people, are worth getting to know. I went to the UK in 1994, and didn’t leave again until 2001 – would return in a jiffy. Will warmly recommend it to anyone.
