Pont De L'Alma, Paris
Untitled
When I was in Paris we drove through this tunnel. I didn’t know until later, but this is the tunnel where Princess Diana died. Today’s the 10th anniversary.

over 5 years agoI feel kind of like a cheater for marking this as visited. My family was driving around Washington DC and took a wrong turn or something, crossed the Key Bridge into Virginia, turned around, and came back over the bridge. So I spent maybe 2 minutes in Virginia. Does that count? Maybe someday I’ll go back and actually see it.
over 5 years agoI asked the security guard if they filmed National Treasure here and was sad to find that they didn’t, save for the scenes outside on the steps. Waited in line for a long time but it was worth it. Also, the Declaration of Independence copies are only $8, not $35 like in the movie. Pretty neat place.
