Pont De L'Alma, Paris

Untitled

When I was in Paris we drove through this tunnel. I didn’t know until later, but this is the tunnel where Princess Diana died. Today’s the 10th anniversary.

Virginia, United States

Untitled

I feel kind of like a cheater for marking this as visited. My family was driving around Washington DC and took a wrong turn or something, crossed the Key Bridge into Virginia, turned around, and came back over the bridge. So I spent maybe 2 minutes in Virginia. Does that count? Maybe someday I’ll go back and actually see it.

National Archives, Penn Quarter

Untitled

I asked the security guard if they filmed National Treasure here and was sad to find that they didn’t, save for the scenes outside on the steps. Waited in line for a long time but it was worth it. Also, the Declaration of Independence copies are only $8, not $35 like in the movie. Pretty neat place.
