The glaciers are truly breathtaking. Alaska is a natural wonder. I don’t know if I would go back though, because I feel like seeing the glaciers once was enough for me.

California…sunny and beautiful. What more is there to say?

The last time I went to England, I was eleven, so I don’t really remember it as much as I wish I did. I do remember that the countryside was beautiful, and I want to go back.

If you’re looking for a cheap way to explore Taiwan’s culture, and you’re between 18-23, you should try the Loveboat program. You pay for your own air plane ticket to Taiwan, and a $500 participation fee, and the Taiwanese government pays for the rest of your one month stay. Trust me, you’re getting well worth you’re money.

I felt more connected to my culture after visiting Taiwan through this program. I’m half-Taiwanese, and I guess I didn’t really know that much about that side of my culture, but after visiting Taiwan, I feel like I connect a lot more with my grandparents and mother. You take culture classes, and go on a round-island tour of the island. My program spend a majority of its time in Taipei, so you had access to the metro system and an amazing city. I went to the nightmarket regularly, which is an experience that I miss. I love $1 Bubble Tea.

The food and the culture is amazing, and the fact that you’re traveling and learning with 400 of your peers makes the experience that much better. You’ll create memories for a lifetime. I could write so much more, but I’m kind of lazy. If you have any questions, just ask.
