California

Worth visiting!

Palm Springs... my favorite place in Cali.

California is a 12 hour drive away from my home state or an hour and 15 minute flight (approx.) I have been to L.A. many times, Disneyland many times, San diego several times, and Palm Springs only once. There is something in this state for everyone.

My favorite place so far of the places In California has been Palm Springs (in November/December) It is much warmer at that time of year than any other place in Calofornia I have been. Great resteraunts and wonderful shopping. Low traffic! Great hotels and golf. If you want a quick getaway of relaxation.. this is the perfect place during winter months.

Can’t believe I actually went to the UK.. Was fortunate enough to travel there on business. Spent most of my time in the northern parts and ended up in London. Definately and experience. Was my first time traveling internationally.. And what a perfect place to start! I want to go back!

Statue of Liberty Museum

Worth visiting!

A tip I have about this place

You have to go if for no other reason but to say you have been. Who visits New York for the first time but does not visit the Statue of Liberty & Ellis Island?

Tip – If you have a tour guide that can give you all of the history behind the statue and Ellis Island it will enhance your trip to this monument by at least 75%. You think you know and remember the history, but to be there in the moment and have someone run it all back to you on-site, is inspiring and worth it! But if you can’t manage a tour guide.. read my first paragraph and go with that advise.

Round 2

My husband and I visited Keywest in February of 2002. We stayed at a Wyndham hotel right on the beach (beaches are actually rocky there) Hotel was great. We rented scooters for the duration of our stay (only way to go). The island is very quaint, laid back, causual, yet intimate. nice island shopping, tons of activities. Went parasailing for the first time there as well as snorkeling.

My favorite thing about key west is how easy it is to find your way around and feel like a local in no time at all. One of the most truly relaxing vacations I have ever been on. You can just enjoy being there. You don’t have to fill your day up with “things to see and do” just because you are on vacation. Just “being” there is a vacation in itself. I am ready for key west round 2. Iv’e been there and would love to go back.
