A dream come true. :-)

Portland is the home of the only bookstore (Powell’s) which I will drive 3 hours to visit.

I lived in Orono for a couple of years when I first moved to Maine. It’s a very nice town, with good people and good pizza. :-)

Sunrises and sunsets are both beautiful from the top of Cadillac, and the road is an easy drive (as long as your brakes work fine) :-) It’s said that at some times of year, Cadillac is the first place on the East Coast to see the sun.

When I lived in Bangor, we’d regularly travel down to Acadia National Park, and we’d usually stop in Bar Harbor for window shopping and/or ice cream on the way out.

Acadia is my favorite national park.

I went down for a job interview once, and got to stroll around Ole Miss and visit Rowan Oak. Very nice city.

The signs on the roads for hundreds of miles around drew us in. :-)

We went up on a day trip once. The old walled city was particularly impressive.

I now live near Seattle, and have no interest in moving back to my previous locations. :-)
