This is my favorite place in Birmingham, and is probably the only place I really miss.
I used to run around there as a kid when it was empty in the evenings, lost in my own imagination and in the joy of its gardens. It’s an absolutely beautiful place.

Best food in town. I love it.

It’s okay. Not great.
Oh, and it’s spelled High Point.

Period.
I go there at least once a year. I love it so much… it’s a big part of my childhood memories, and my life now. Great hiking, great views, picnic spots, animals and plants and all sorts of great things to see and do.

It’s a nice little town… not much else to say.

My home state… On one side of my family I’m something like 9th or 10th generation North Carolinian. I miss the place, really. It’s a great state.

I love this cemetary, and visited there multiple times. It’s not so picturesque as Pere Lachaise, but it is very beautiful and very interesting. Its smaller size makes it (slightly) more managable/less overwhelming than Lachaise, as well. A good number of well-known people are buried here (I personally visited the graves of Sartre, Man Ray, and Brassi, but there are a good many more), but it is worht it simply for the graves and tombs and mini-chapels crowded into the place.

It’s worth it simply for Virgin Megastore, and to say you’ve been there. It’s just not all that nice for a stroll or anything, in my opinion.

Nothing’s better for a quick break on a hot day than some ice cream… and Bethillon’s is quite good.

I lived just on the edge of Montparnasse my second time in Paris. It’s a great area.
