healing clinic?

I’ve heard of an obscure herbal remedy healing clinic in Thailand and of course, can’t remember location but hoping someone has stumbled upon it, apparently not well known, but has die-hard comebackers cuz whatever they do works.

Tel Aviv

lived here briefly

Good felafel; watch out girls that you don’t gain weight. Did a kibbutz on the Dead Sea called Mitzpah Shalem, not sure if still there, you could see Jordan across the sea. Kibbutz made Dead Sea Facial Mud; ran a rapelling business on the side; raised turkeys, and had a working vineyard. Made for a pretty diverse experience. 1983, sand, snorkling, and native remedies

Beautiful place, best snorkling I’ve found in the world. Last I was there, lots of sand, smoke, and big pillows on the beach. Stayed in a hut on the sand on a 3 day visa from Israel. Stung by a sea urchin. Wouldn’t allow the native remedy of having someone pee on my foot and suffered for 3 weeks because of it. Lessons: If snorkling, wear sneakers in the water; if stung, go for the indigenous healing, pronto.

Searching ancestry

Going to Hungary in September. Looking for relatives in Budapest. Can’t wait. Trouble creating an itinerary, people keep telling us to do a tour, which we don’t want to do. Rather do it ourselves but guidance would be nice. Wondering if two weeks there is too much?

Grand Canyon National Park

last-minute decision

Left Las Vegas after one hour, on a whim drove to Canyon and decided to hike, no backpacks, no hiking shoes, just us in jeans, t-shirts and slippery shoes. Camped at base. Romantic.
