Amazing fish tacos!

Gorgeous! Ate at Marlin Monroe’s and had some of the best fish tacos I’ve ever eaten in my life.

I’d say it was worth visiting because it’s amazing – but apparently it’s closed now. But for you Myst etc fans, the building was designed with their game in mind. A pond out back with cogwheel stepping stones, and the main programming room was built as concentric circles on several different levels – with a simulated observatory for a ceiling. It was beautiful!

Oh lord, it’s a fair. If you go expecting it to be not over commercialized, loud, dirty and obnoxious…then you have issues. But for a fair, it’s great.

I don’t think you could go there and NOT find a book you want.

If you’re going to Salem, you might as well just wave as you drive through on your way to Portland. Unless you have a burning desire to visit all 50 U.S. state capitols.

Great water skiing in the summer :) Perfect weather.

As long as you include the Maryhill Museum and winery in the same trip. :)

You can find pretty much anything here. Including the original Starbucks.
