Yellowstone National Park

Why I want to go to this place

Due to time limitation, I missed the trip there with my friends, which is a big loss for me. Then, of course, this place becomes a must on my list. BTW, i heard that the grand geyser is dry already….

Chengdu

(in China > Sichuan)

Worth visiting!

I will miss Chengdu~

It’s shameful that I don’t have any pic of Chengdu in my computer now….Tomorrow I will leave the lovely city and don’t know what’s the next back. After one year, Chengdu really has large change! More beautiful~ and less dust since most city constructions have finished~ and cooler in summer. It’s the coolest summer I ever have in Chengdu.

The biggest difference I find between Shanghai and Chengdu is people. Here, Chengdu people are more warm-hearted than those in Shanghai, who r so indifferent! No matter how large the gap between the two cities is, I surely will pick up Chengdu as my favorite city because of its lovely people. Even though we don’t have much money, we are willing to help other strangers who r in need with our money. It’s priceless and most valuerable:) That’s the spirite of the great city~!

Xi'an

(in China > Shaanxi)

Not worth visiting!

sorry i don't like there

my trip there is somewhat unpleasant and probably because of my personal taste, I strongly dislike newly-built ancient-like building and old architectures with modern signs like no incribing no spitting something, destorying the whole view:(

Xi'an

(in China > Shaanxi)

Not worth visiting!

back from Xi'an last Friday

I’ve stayed in Xi’an for 5 days. Actually this trip is somewhat special to me. It’s my first time to travel alone, I made awesome friends there and the experience in Xi’an sucks. I don’t wanna insult people who love there but some people there are so mean, especially when going out with foreigners.

When pulling my luggage near bell tower, a girl begger suddenly dragged my skirt firmly and asked for money – totally freaked out then cos I was afraid my skirt would be pulled down and no one to help me!(regret to have no friends with me)

And taxi fare there is really cheap, compared with that in Shanghai and Chengdu. However, they always detour! I never got the reasonable fee that local people got. That’s fine I can stand..

Don’t buy sweet on the street! That’s the most unpleasant thing. For a pack of sweet, it cost me 120RMB! Robbery~ Never never do it!

And the good things, I really love food and trinkle on Muslim Street, the old yard and Shadow Play! It’s my first time to watch the play, even though I don’t understand what they sing but it’s quite delicated. Strongly recommended~ and we had dinner on Muslim Street too, not a fancy one but ordinary one, with many local people there – it’s my theory to pick up a restaurant in a unfamiliar place:) Food there are delicious and cheap, full of big plates. Within 111RMB, the quantity is enough for 6 people!

Also the museumn is worthy visiting. We spent more than half day there so that didn’t have time to go terracotta warriors and the pool once queen bathed in. To me, it’s not a pity and in the museumn, I saw different kinda things, and there is 4 warriors too. Just multiplying them to thousands, then a pic of warrior sea will in my mind:P

Destination next week

I’m going there for a conference and have no idea I will love there or not. Generally I’m an architecture lover and easy to get excited by exotic culture. Just have a visit and it’s my first one person trip! Hello Xi’an~_

Chengdu

Worth visiting!

Awesome city~ My hometown

I’m a Chengdu native but have to study in Shanghai. Compared with Shanghai, Chengdu is more lovely and livable. Food is more tasty, people are more warmhearted and daily life is more comfortable. At least I won’t have to squeeze into a people-can bus…It’s aweful~ Anyway, love u Chengdu and I’m coming back_
