Auckland was a good city, but if you really want a New Zealand experience in the North Island, go elsewhere, like Lake Taupo or Rotorua.

The entire museum is housed in a Gothic palace, and the architecture is stunning (as is typical of the rest of the buildings of Barcelona.) I love that it’s somewhat tucked away, hidden in a small-ish alley of the Gothic quarter. The collection spans a good selection of Picasso’s work, from his drawings as a child prodigy to his variations on Velazquez’s Las Meninas (my personal favorite of the museum.) Have a great time!
