Freetown
(in Sierra Leone)
Worth visiting!
The last time I went to this place — 1 year ago
it was really an experience to go there.. there were so many apprehensions in mind about security. Yet, this place seems to going well on the path of recovery. Beaches here worth anything. Beautiful, clean and uncrowded.
The city is trying to recover from war and lots of work needed. You can find some good hotels and restaurant run by Lebanese people. Roads are a thing of concern and they are too narrow, frequent traffic jam is inevitable.
The most exciting part was going from Lungi airport to Freetown by helicopter. Either you have to take helicopter or motorboat to go to Freetown from Lungi.
