I’ve visited the Porkies twice, once in the dead of a February winter and the other in the midst of the vivacious fall colors. From the solitude, deep snow and cold river fords of an Upper Peninsula winter to the invigorating encounters with other seekers of fall colors the Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park is a place to find the solace of the backcountry in the Midwestern United States.

Fargo, North Dakota

10 long years...

That’s how long I lived in Fargo. College, working, playing. Fargo is a nice town. Fargo is a polite town. Fargo is a cold town. Fargo has a charm to it’s size and population that isn’t found too many other places. I like Fargo.
